Would you like to get married in the Catholic Church? If the answer is yes, the Parish of Our Lady of Fátima de Torreón opened the call for couples to register for collective marriages to be held on July 30 of the current year at 7:30 p.m.
Marriage is a sacrament that is linked to the love of God, so consent before the Catholic Church must be an act of the will of each of the contracting parties.
The parish priest of the temple, Rafael López, said that last year 35 couples were married in the Church, so in 2022 around 50 are expected to unite their lives before God.
“The only requirement that I ask of them is that they want to get married in the Church, if they are not baptized I baptize them, if they have not made their first communion, I give them their first communion, if they are not confirmed I confirm them.

The problem is not the sacraments, the important thing is that they receive the sacrament of marriage so that they can live their faith,” he said.
He stressed that this call is for those couples who live in the surroundings of the Parish of Our Lady of Fatima and that, if they are from other temples, they have to approach them so that they can send the request to Father Rafael López. The priest stressed that one of the benefits of getting married collectively in the Catholic Church is that the cost is much lower.
