SIMAS Torreón operation arrives at La Merced II – Then24

The Torreón Municipal Water and Sanitation System (SIMAS) reported that, giving continuity to the comprehensive preventive care operation in the System’s infrastructure, this day it was the turn of the La Merced II neighborhood.
At the confluence of Pichincha and Inbabura streets, actions began by operational crews and paramunicipal vactor trucks, which swept the streets of La Merced II and attended to incidents related to the Operating Agency.

Repair of drinking water leaks, wastewater outbreaks, desilting of collectors, collapsed sewer networks, and visit wells (sewers), were some of the incidents in which the operating personnel made up of 20 crews, in addition to 2 desilting trucks , they took care to attend to them and guarantee an efficient service in the supply of drinking water and the conduction of wastewater.
It is important to point out that, during the desilting of the sewers, blockages caused by the accumulation of garbage, plastic, rags, etc. were removed, for which SIMAS Torreón urges the public not to use the drains as garbage dumps, as this prevents the proper functioning of health networks.
SIMAS Torreón informs that the comprehensive preventive care operation will continue daily visiting the neighborhoods of Torreón to improve the drinking water and sanitary drainage services offered to the population.
