Paulina Herrera estudió la carrera de Diseño Industrial en la Universidad Iberoamericana y al terminar, buscó adentrarse en el mundo de la creatividad, es por eso que concluyó múltiples cursos en Florencia y Londres, los cuales le ayudaron a formar su carrera profesional.
Gracias a la oportunidad que tuvo de trabajar un verano dentro de un taller de carpintería en Valle de Bravo, Paulina aprendió a reflejar sus ideas en 3D por primera vez. Desde entonces, se ha dedicado a crear y desarrollar productos nuevos, conceptualizando ideas y plasmándolas para así lograr un perfecto proceso de fabricación y llevar a cabo su negocio: Perch.

Su parte favorita dentro del emprendimiento es poder representar su personalidad en diferentes piezas simples y minimalistas, como lo es su punto de inspiración, el diseño escandinavo.
Exponer sus muebles elegantes y acogedores dentro de El Parian fue un giro nuevo para ella al igual que para su equipo.
Uno de sus secretos dentro de Perch es el estar constantemente creando diseños vanguardistas, muebles que duren mucho tiempo usando colores neutros que puedan combinar con cualquier espacio.
