2022 FutureSox Draft Tracker – Sox Machine

It’s essentially back to normal for the MLB Draft. Similarly to last year’s draft, it will encompass 20 rounds once again but bonus totals did ultimately go up. It’s later in the year due to the league insisting upon the event coinciding with All Star weekend as well.
We’ll have you covered here at FutureSox and SoxMachine with the updated Draft Tracker. This will be a one-stop shop for info on each White Sox selection. This tracker will be updated with signing bonus information as we get it.
The White Sox have $6,289,100 in bonus pool money to work with. The full list of slot values is available here.

I really wish the Sox had gone with college position players. Their recent track record of scouting and developing high school arms is pretty abysmal.
I’m waiting to see how much Tucker Toman is getting from the Blue Jays at Pick 77.
Guessing it’s like $2.5 million.
This seems like a good place to mention how pleased I am with this year’s Sox Machine-Future Sox merger. Great Day One coverage (both in print and audio), and I look forward to how you all cover today and tomorrow. Thanks for providing such excellent perspective to Sox fans.
Thanks man!
